Separation and recovery with water and diffused air
The FLOTE-TECH Model A is a portable, two-mode flotation system that processes soil and sediment samples rapidly in a closed system — in the laboratory or in the field, even where no water supply is available.

What the Model A does
Soil and sediment samples are processed by a high-efficiency, two-mode process using water and diffused air. Light fractions float free while heavy fractions settle, letting you recover fragile evidence quickly and gently.
- Recovers artifacts, fossils, invertebrate life forms, charcoal, and other evidence
- Closed system requires only 100 gallons of water — rapid processing at lower cost
- Dispersing agents can be used in the system and continuously recycled
- Accommodates samples up to 20 liters
- Portable design for laboratory or field use, including sites with no water supply
